Mother Teresa possible quotation | Georgia | Sunday, April 26, 2009 |
Question: On many websites, you see this quotation attributed to Mother Teresa: "The fruit of abortion is nuclear war." I cannot find any writing or speech where Mother Teresa said that, so I doubt that she did. Did Mother Teresa say that, and, if so, where? Thank you. |

Dear Georgia: There are many sayings attributed to Mother Teresa many of which will be next to impossible to trace down. Many of the quotes from her are not from her writings or published speeches, but from off-the-cuff remarks she made in conversation. Those will be next to impossible to track down. The best way to handle this situation if one cannot find the source of the quote is to attribute it this way: "The fruit of abortion is nuclear war." --attributed to Mother Teresa God Bless, For information on how to receive help see our Help page.
