Question: Hi, I have been involved in occult type stuff since I was young (17). I have since repented and turned my life to the Lord. I have contact with people who once introduced me to easter meditation, psychics, etc. They asked about the miraculous medal, other medals. They believe in them on some level, more for luck probly. I took these medals before our lady and prayed for thier conversion before I gave these medals to them. Now, should I be worried? I gave them these medals and a whirl of worry is surrounding me today. By my prayers and connection to these medals, am I opening soul ties to the objects? I am worried; or should I just give this to the Lord. Or should I ask for these items back (id sound crazy and the relationship would be forever ruined). Thanks, worried

It would have been best to not provide those medals, especially if blessed, to people in the New Age or occultism. Oftentimes the reason they want them is to desecrate them, abuse them, or otherwise use them improperly. They can certainly get these items themselves at any Catholic bookstore or over the Internet. Witches and people like that can also use items gained from people to cast spells upon those people. I would not be worried, however, unless things start happening that are unusual. If you wish, you can pray the Breaking Spells and Curses that is our Prayer Catalog linked before. Everyone needs to pray the Hedge Prayer of Protection. It is also not advisable to maintain a friendship with these people. You need to move on away from that connection and life to surround yourself with Godly people. God Bless, Bro.
