Dear Francis: Sorry for the delay in answering. Hopefully you will see this. There is a reason we have the age requirement, but I thank you for being honest. Next time ask your parents before posting. As for your friend, from your description, she has a serious emotional problem. She needs to see a psychologist for sure, but you cannot force her to do that. You can encourage her, which you seem to be doing. In addition to encouragement and support, pray for her. I would suggest prayers from our Spiritual Warfare Catalog. Pray the Hedge Prayer of Protection, for example. Try to get her to pray that prayer. If she is Catholic encourage her to go to Confession regularly and to receive the Eucharist. Confession and Eucharist are powerful means to cast out evil spirits. Even if she is not Catholic invite her to go to Mass each Sunday with you. She cannot receive the Eucharist in this case, but just being at Mass will give her a grace. Also, and very importantly, she and you should go to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. For adoration just sit in front of the Tabernacle quietly. You and she can pray and talk to God about the problems. But for about 20 minutes just sit there quietly. Let God talk a little. Adoration before Our Lord in the Sacrament can be powerful. It is like sitting and basking in the rays of the SON. What she needs is this spiritual approach and to see a mental health professional. God Bless, For information on how to receive help see our Help page. We suggest that before contacting us directly for help you try the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance. These self-help steps will often resolve the problem. Also our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog contains many prayers that may be helpful. If needed you can ask for a Personal Consultation.
