Question: Hello Brother.in an article you talked about the behaviors or atittudes that invite the devil to our lives(like unchastity cursing etc...)I was thinking about this since I suspect a demonic influence in my life. as about sins against chastity with the help of God I am totally chaste.it seems a miracle to me.since I have the most pervers tendencies that you can imagine and used to have impure thoughts since a very younge age.I keep myself away from some other sins and say many prayers.though I fail every day in the matters of faith and charity I say an act of contirition and continue to hope for improvement. But I am addicted to daydreaming and interior monologue.I cannot silent my mind.though I have forgiven my parents,I imagine myself being a leader,filmmaker writer etc. who speaks againts child abuse.I imagine myself canonized as patron saint of abstinence on who's eve couples practice abstince and all of family members wear white clothes and instead of making a miserable child sleep lonely,make a family bed and let their children sleep near them. I cannot wean myself of the pleasures that I feel while I am daydreaming.but nowadays it is causing me many troubles.I cannot head my studies or do any job that requires calmness and concentration. given the fact that I pray for every body and the contents of most of this imaginations is harmless (even religious)Can it be a weapon in the hand of demons? thank you!

While the enemy can certainly use this to his advantage, the root causes of your day dreaming are most likely psychological. Since these day dreams are interfering with your life, I would recommend that you consult with a counselor or psychologist to find out the underlying cause of these day dreams and how to remedy their interference in your life.
