Question: I posted a question last April which you very kindly answered. After moving into our home we had a run of bad luck and then tragedy really struck us when our beautiful youngest daughter died after 10 months treatment for leukaemia. I wondered if our house was cursed. I had also stopped going to Mass and receiving the sacraments. Your compassionate reply brought me such comfort and gave me direction. I miss my daughter and I always will, I feel like a part of me died with her. I have been attending Mass and feel better for it. But I know she is waiting for me and in God's time we will be together again, never to part. Thank you too, John. You posted recently and you too have suffered a lot over recent years. You have inspired me to keep on going and to continue to trust in God. You counted your blessings and when I sat down and did this too I was amazed when I realised how much goodness has been in my life during my darkest days. Life is hard but we are all in God's hands and must trust in him. |
