Dear Brother Ignatius,

I have been under severe diabolical oppression for over a year now. I'm aware its oppression and not just life's adversity due to the nature of the incidents and unusual accidents. Its been a constant barrage of relentess misfortune and illness. For instance, I'm suffering deep financial adversity and prior to going on job interviews, once I slipped on the ice and fractured my hip and another time I broke my toe before attempting to get to my meeting.

I've been a strong and prayerful Catholic all of my life, but the past few years have been especially filled with faith and unity for me. Most of the oppression started right after I returned from a spiritual pilgrimage in Europe. I had a wonderful and blessed time and felt so full of hope. I also discovered that prior generations of my family mishandled money and may have possibly cheated people so regardless of the strong work ethic I possess, something always seems to go awry in my life concerning money. There is also a spirit of depression and suicide down my family line. It seems the more I try to do for the good of myself and others, the more I try and volunteer my services to help others, the more I get pummeled and setback.

The main problem with me is finances. I've always worked, always been dedicated but I'm constantly battling poverty. Money gets stolen from me, jobs that I am very good at get taken away through lay offs or other odd circumstances. Its taking a severe toll on my life, my health and the ability to live.

I know what is happening and I try not to fear because I know the blood of Christ has won all victory for us. However, I'm praying and fasting, and using sacramentals and other spiritual warfare and it seems its clinging and not breaking.

Should I continue trying to break this on my own, or should I look for others to assist me?
