Question: I have been engaged in open spiritual warfare with a family of satanists next door since December. I think I have been doing everything right- weekly, sometimes bi-weekly confession, daily Communion (almost daily), daily Rosary, daily Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3:00, Chaplet of St. Michael twice daily, at least an hour a week before the Blessed Sacrament, daily scriptural reading and a rich prayer life. But I am getting tired. Any suggestions?
Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM Dear Pavel: Well, there is not enough information for me to adequately comment. Do you have things happening in your house? Paranormal phenomena? What is the nature of the spiritual warfare? Is this a neighborhood squabble? What are these Satanist doing that causes you to do all this? In general the things you are doing are good, but you need to just live a good Catholic life. You do not need to intensify things to the point that wears you out. Just live a normal Catholic life. Then, in terms of spiritual warfare, check out the prayers in our SW Prayer Catalog and pray a couple of those that are applicable. The Hedge Prayer of Protection is one I would recommend. Well, there is not enough information for me to adequately comment. Do you have things happening in your house? Paranormal phenomena? What is the nature of the spiritual warfare? Is this a neighborhood squabble? What are these Satanist doing that causes you to do all this?

In general the things you are doing are good, but you need to just live a good Catholic life. You do not need to intensify things to the point that wears you out.
