Question: Dear Brother, I am a 42 yr old man from Bangalore in India.From the past 8 or 9 yrs a servant who works in my house has been indulging in witchcraft over me.When I go to sleep at night an evil spirit enters my head and stays there. I am filled with the holy spirit and had a deliverance prayer done over me a yr ago.The problem lessened greatly in magnitude since then and after visiting your site last week I found further relief using self deliverance,but the problem still persists. Even as I am typing this letter there is some evil presence in me.Why is it that I am not getting complete deliverance? This servant maid started to attack me with witchcraft due to the fact that she wanted the Holy Spirit in me to be used by her for worldly benefits.She didnt succeed and now shes doing it partly out of revenge and partly to safeguard herself from Gods wrath?Her daughter fell badly ill last yr.Please advise.
Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM Dear Deepak: Well, first off, you need to get rid of the maid. Get her out of your house. In terms of some self-help that you can do I would advise going through the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance found in our HELP section linked before. Also some of the prayers in our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog also linked below. The Hedge Prayer of Protection and the Breaking Curses and Spells are two that you should certainly pray. If you can identify specific demon attributes you could also pray the Rebuking Particular Spirits prayer. As for why you are not getting a full deliverance, I cannot say. If may be there there are some "hooks" in your life that demons are using as an excuse to hang on to you. You need to clean your life and live the victorious Christ life.
