Question: My husband and I were watching paranormal, it is on the AandE channel. This show has some very scary things on it having to do with the occult, the narrater must be catholic because he uses holy water and medals to rid the demons. The show also reminds people not to mess with things like the ouja board and trying to contact the dead.

There is not a single one of these TV shows that approaches this subject properly. While some of these show do say things that are good, such as telling people not to mess with Ouija Board and such, they also express theories to explain paranormal phenomena that are outright dumb and ignorant. All them do things that are profoundly dangerous and stupid. And none of them approach this subject in concert with Catholic teaching even if they say they are Catholic, or use catholic sacramentals. They all violate Catholic teaching, they all violate prudent investigative techniques, they all teach erroneous theology of angels and demons, they all are a danger to the public because of this.
