Bisexuality | anon | Wednesday, December 19, 2007 |
Question: Dear Brother Ignatius Mary My daughter is a practicing Catholic and a very kind and compassionate child. She is at home and still in high school. What amazes me the most is that she claims most teenagers her age see bisexuality as quite harmless. She has been taught about the sacred nature of marriage and attends a Catholic school. Whenever this friendship seems to waver and I feel my prayers have been answered he finds a means back into our lives. I am praying that he will come back to God as he is Catholic and his younger brother just made his First Communion. His influence over my daughter is very worrying and at times he claims to have summoned demons and wanted to purchase an ouija board. They are both at the same school and he has never been in our home. |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Anon: Your concerns are very valid. Your daughter really should not hang around this guy as he is obviously playing around with demonic fire. Get too close to the fire one will get burnt. Your prayers for him are excellent -- continue to pray that he will come back to God. It is very disturbing that our youth today find sexual perversion to be so "normal." That is a very disturbing trend. Bi-sexuality is a moral evil that is an abomination to God. by definition it involves both the evil of sex outside of marriage and homosexual sex. Those who believe themselves to be bi-sexual have a psychological problem. As it is with most sexual perversions, demons are always interested in exploiting those involved in such perversions. In addition to the psychological bondage bi-sexuality creates, these people find themselves in a spiritual bondage as well. There will most certainly be demonic presences surrounding them. As for a wiccan who is not evil, what the boy means is that is practice of witchcraft is not "black" but "white". That is, he does not use witchcraft for revenge magic and the like that hurts people. However, witchcraft is witchcraft. It is all evil by definition. It "contradicts the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone" and thereby is a sin against the First Commandment. He claims to conjure demons. Well, that is evil. The catechism states:
