You have nothing to confess. We are not held accountable for things of which we have no control and we cannot control our dreams.

As for whether this is just a dream or a demonic attack I do not know. The mere fact that this is a dream that you do not like does not automatically make it a demonic attack. Is there anything else going on in your life that would suggest demonic harassment? Usually, but not always, there is more than just a dream if there is demonic harassment going on.

In any event we do not have to definitively determine ta demonic element in order to act in a manner of spiritual warfare. For example, I can recommend the following prayer for you to say before you go to bed:

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of the name His Name, I subject my mind and my dreams only to the work of the Holy Spirit. I ask you Lord to bind up all powers of darkness and forbid them to work in my dreams or any part of my subconscious while I sleep. Amen.

A more powerful bedtime prayer is found in the official prayer of the Church, the Night Prayers of the Liturgy of the Hours. When praying the Liturgy of the Hours one is not just praying by themselves or with their families, but praying with the entire Church -- the Church in heaven, in purgatory, and on earth. If you feel that you are being harassed by demons about homosexuality then you may want to also prayer a prayer of rebuke:

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of His name, I ask of the heavenly Father to rebuke this spirit of     [list the attribute of the spirit such as fear, lust, homosexuality, depression, etc]     and to command it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to depart from me, now, quietly, without harm to anyone.

I bring the power and the protection of the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ over my life. Satan has no part with me as I am sealed with the saving blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, forgive me for not being all I should be in Your eyes. Let the cleansing, healing waters of my baptism wash over this me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.

Lord Jesus Christ, fill me with Your     [list the opposite attribute of the offending spirit; if fear, then list peace, if lust, the list purity, if homosexuality, then list purity, if depression, then list joy, etc]     to replace the     [list again the attribute of the spirit such as fear, lust, depression, etc]    .

Lord Jesus, bring to bear my guardian angel, and all the angels of heaven, against the forces of evil that seek to cause trouble for me.

Saint Michael, be my protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, and our Mother, pray for me that I may not fall into the devil’s temptations.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for setting me free. I praise You, I bless You, I worship You. Thank You for the wisdom and light of the Holy Spirit.

Thank You for enabling me to be aggressive against the works of the enemy. Thank You for Your hope, that takes away discouragement; thank You for ongoing victory. "...in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37). Amen.

What is happening may merely be a dream and nothing more. As I mentioned, we do not have to definitively determine a demonic element in order to approach this from a spiritual warfare perspective. This is what we call the "law of as-if".

The "law of as-if" is a protocol we use in our deliverance ministry. It means that even if we do not know for sure that a demonic element is present we can precede "as if" there is.

Prayer is always efficacious. When we proceed with these prayers, if there is a demonic presence then hopefully the prayers will get rid of it, if there is no demonic presence, the prayer still gives a grace. God never throws away a prayer. He always gives some grace by the very fact that we pray. Thus, this is a win-win situation. The prayer is efficacious for our lives either way.
