Question: My grandson of 3 yrs old has had a difficult life with exposure to people engaging in drug use, unhealthy relationships, violence etc., This is a generational curse on our family. My daughter is now sober and has dedicated her life to Christ, as have I. My grandson has behavior problems and that is to be expected and we are seeking counseling for that, but I am very concerned about certain aspects of his behavior and I do not know if I am attributing them to evil spirits when they should not be. For example when we pray he yells out, he cut up several of my prayers and only my prayers when there were several other pieces of paper around, when I was listening to Christian music the other night he started growling(!), he told me there is a monster in his house and showed me where he was(in the closet in his mother's room). He is extremly anxious at times and has panic attacks. He gets a different look, crafty and sly, about him when he displays violent, aggressive behavior and seems to take pleasure from hurting my other grandchildren that are younger than he is. I am currently fasting and praying for answers on how to deal with this. Please help me with advice on a cleansing ceremony or prayers for this specific type of attack. Thank you very much.

I praise God and thank Him that your daughter, and yourself, have rededicated your lives to Christ. That is the first step in resolving these problems. The problems of your grandson's behavior, including the violent and sly behavior, may be due to the environment and experiences he was exposed to. It is also possible, and this probably ought to be considered, that he may have been given, or got into, some of the drugs that were around him. If this happened, this might have caused brain problems. A child's brain is still very much developing. This is especially the cause if the mother took drugs during the pregnancy. The behavior of destroying prayers, growling at Christian music, combined with the "monster," concerns me. Even if 98% of the problems with your grandson are psychological and medical, there may also be a spiritual affliction as well. Demons are quite known to like to hitchhike on problems that already exist. They may not cause the problem, but they are more than willing to jump on the wagon and try to make the problems worse than they otherwise would be. This can be like the "chicken and the egg" story to figure this out for sure, but we do not need to figure that out -- the solution is the same either way. Keep in mind that under most circumstances the psychological and medical issues will not be resolved by deliverance prayers and spiritual warfare strategies. The psychological and medical issues must be handled be a qualified health professional. What I can help with is the spiritual aspect (though sometimes when the spiritual affliction is resolved so are much of the psychological, and sometimes even medical; but do not count on that). I cannot really be very specific since I do not know your family history. I would invite you to contact me directly, if you feel the advice here is not working. Also, since you are not Catholic, while the prayers and other strategies we publish on this site are Catholic in orientation, they can be edited by you, as needed, if there is anything you are not comfortable with. In terms of our personal consultation services, we do consult with and counsel non-Catholics, and modify prayers and other matters appropriately for our non-Catholic clients, so that is not a problem. This is truly an anointed CD. It is a serious of lullabies, but it is good for adults too. Playing the CD in the house, on low, throughout the day can lesson tensions in the house. For your grandson, playing the CD all night long, very low volume so as not to disturb his sleep, may keep any evil spirits away. This CD seems to be good at doing that -- keeping spirits away. Question:
