Exorcism of Emily Rose | Omar | Thursday, April 12, 2007 |
Question: Hi Brother: There was a movie that came out about two years ago called "The Exorcism of Emily Rose." The movie was supposedly based on a true story. I wanted to see if you're familiar with it, and to ask you how much of it is accurate, and how much of it was exagerated by Hollywood. Thank you, welcome back to the forum, and may God continue to bless you and your ministry. |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Omar: I watched this film again just a couple of months ago, but with my pointed head I don't remember enough detail to be specific in a review. Generally speaking, however, this is an excellent film. In fact we are going to use this film in our Deliverance Counselor Training program. I've also noticed that Ignatius Press is selling this film in their video collection. As much as I can remember at the moment the film is relatively accurate. But, like I said, I don't remember enough to be specific. I have to buy this film anyway for the Training program. Once I get a copy, I can provide a more specific review. God Bless,
