Question: Thanks for taking my question. I live with my mom because I am disabled. I have been working on ridding myself of demonic influences for some years now, of which she is aware and helped in seeking out help. Lately my mom, who is a practicing Catholic and knows better, has been watching Tarot card readers on YouTube. She said she knows it’s wrong, but was curious. She then said she doesn’t want to endanger anyone else in the house. I think she is, but would like your opinion please. I just don’t get why she would do this. Could it cause demons to hang around and bother the family? Thanks again.

Your mother is putting herself in danger as curiosity about this and watching this on YouTube can, and usually does, attract demons. This danger is not just to herself, but to her whole household. By household, her behavior can have effects upon the whole family, including children who are adults with their own families. This is precisely how generational demonizations happen. Of particular danger is all those in the house, others who live in the house, and even those who visit. Your mother needs to stop this behavior immediately and seek confession.
