Dear Anne: Thank you for volunteering to bring Viaticum to people in the hospital. That is a wonderful ministry. In the incident you mention, the man reacting to the Eucharist in this way, yelling and screaming and agitation, usually means that the man was demonized. Such reaction is typical to those who are seriously demonized or possessed. In such a ministry one is bound to experience this eventually. When it happens, do not try to deliver the man or even pray over him, but pray for him later. Some of the prayers on our prayer catalog linked below can be useful for this purpose. God Bless, For information on how to receive help see our Help page. We suggest that before contacting us directly for help you try the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance. These self-help steps will often resolve the problem. Also our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog contains many prayers that may be helpful. If needed you can ask for a Personal Consultation.
