Question: I feel a spiritual attack on my heart. It wants to slow my heart down, make me feel sluggish, lethargic, and weak. Sometimes the spirits also nip at me, as I sometimes feel a sharp prick on my skin. Other times, the spirits try to make parts of my body go numb. I think I might have opened the wrong doors when I started falling into research on New Age types of spirituality. I have since renounced this, repented, and gone to Confession. I attend daily mass, pray the rosary daily, St. Michael prayers, and am constantly rebuking the spirits. Is there any relief for this?

My pulse was down to 51 and sometimes lower. I had an electrical block that was resolve by a pacemaker. Thus, the first order of business is to see a doctor about these symptoms. As for the sojourn into New Age research, you have already done what is primarily needed and are living a good Catholic life. In addition, to be sure all "hooks" are gone that demons can use as an excuse to hang on to you, I recommend the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance, linked below. Dear Mel:
