Catholic prayers to break Freemasonic Curses Joel Saturday, June 24, 2017

Question:

I was aware that my wife's grandfather was a Freemason and we were aware of several curses that can be passed down generationally especially pertaining to health and fertility. I have recently become aware that my own great-grandfather was a Freemason. Through some research I have come upon several good resources from Fr. Chad Ripperger FSSP on the topic of generational spirits and we have become quite serious about breaking these curses.

I am planning on having a competent clerical authority perform some exorcisms if faculties can be obtained (if required) but as the Father of my family, having the authority as such in the natural order, I wanted to say some prayers renouncing the curses of Freemasonry for my family but the resources I have found have largely been protestant. I am a bit uncomfortable using these prayers without knowing they have been approved for use by competent Church authority. Can you provide me with some approved Catholic material to use on my own?

Joel:

For the most part the Church does not officially approved specific prayers. There are books of prayer that do have imprimaturs, however.

I would advise two prayers from our Prayer Catalog to deal with curses and any generational demons:

Breaking Household Curses and Spells (you can include specific curses from Freemasonry)

Prayer Of Renunciation Of Ancestral Sins (every generation ought to pray this one)

...plus any other prayer in our Catalog that is useful.

As the father and paterfamilias of your household, you can say these prayers with the authority due to a paterfamilias.

The prayers above contain simple exorcism language, if that is what you mean by exorcisms.

We will be praying for you and your family, too

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
