Question: What do flies have to do with the devil? Also, the centipedes on The Exorcist were creepy. They were under the girl's pillow, and she threw one up when she vomited. It was a monster-size creature. What would that have to do with devil possession? (I had been watching The Exorcist on Fox.) One conclusion I have come to is that it is not always necessary for the devil to do preternatural things. The possessed girl left a path of carnage in her wake. That would be scary enough.

It is not accurate and watching such things can sometimes cause spiritual problems or even demonic attachments. The devil works in many ways. Preternatural phenomena is rare as demons like to stay hidden and in the shadows. One of the greatest dangers of watch shows like that, in addition to giving incorrect information, is to instill curiosity.
