Dear Christina: There is no secret. One needs to be a mature and level-headed Christian, devout and obedient to the Church and Her teachings. Such a person needs to spend a lot of time in prayer and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Daily attendance at the Holy Mass is important if possible. One's faith needs to be nourished by frequent reading and study of the bible and Church teaching (e.g., the Catechism), and the reception of the Holy Eucharist. The Sacrament of Confession should be attended to at least monthly even if one has only venial sins. I would suggest a spiritual retreat to earnestly pray for guidance in discovering God's will for your life. Find a group of people who will continually pray for you and your apostolate. This is critical as without pray cover we place ourselves in danger. Finally, it is absolutely critical to find a good Spiritual Director who is familiar with the areas to which you believe God is calling you. These things will get you started. If your call to healing includes helping those demonized, you need training. Do not attempt deliverance unless you are trained. We have a training program, St. Michael Academy for Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance Counseling, that is the most extensive program in the world. You are invited to checkout the Academy if you feel your calling is going in that direction. We will be in prayer for you. God Bless, For information on how to receive help see our Help page. We suggest that before contacting us directly for help you try the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance. These self-help steps will often resolve the problem. Also our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog contains many prayers that may be helpful. If needed you can ask for a Personal Consultation.
