Why a Stranger seems so hostile for no reason? Anne Sunday, May 15, 2016

Question:

One of the checkers in the supermarket seems to dislike me for no reason. She glares at me with animosity, and once when I was about to get a shopping cart, she took it and slammed it into the other carts. Then she said, "I didn't know you wanted a cart." It was funny because why would I have been standing there about to take a cart if I did not want one? I have heard that sometimes when someone dislikes a person for no reason, it could be a spiritual problem. Could that be so?

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r), CCL, LTh, DD, LNDC

Dear Anne:

Yes, it can be a spiritual problem, or it can be a personality problem. The person may also be under a lot of stress and the only way she knows how to cope with it is to be mean to customers.

It is hard to know. People can be that way for dozens of reasons.

Pray for her.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
