"The cause of most cases of epilepsy is unknown, although some people develop epilepsy as the result of brain injury, stroke, brain tumor, and substance use disorders." Epilepsy has nothing to do with demons. There was a time when people thought a person experiencing an epileptic seizure was possessed. Thus, there were many misdiagnosed people, unfortunately. To be fair, a possessed person can exhibit seizures and body contortions during an exorcism or deliverance, but this is not the same thing as epilepsy. Epilepsy has nothing to do with demons. There was a time when people thought a person experiencing an epileptic seizure was possessed. Thus, there were many misdiagnosed people, unfortunately.
