Question: Dear Brother, Several years ago, I received a phone call from a man whom I considered a friend that I worked with. At the time of the call, I was sitting in the kitchen with only the lights from the living room on. During the course of the conversation, which was work-related, I suddenly saw and felt blackness zooming towards me over the phone line and suddenly I became aware of 3 black forms standing in front of me. I would say they they were approx 9 feet tall, as our house has 10 ft ceilings. I was completely startled! And as I wondered what they were, I "heard" , Lust, Perversion, and Drugs...and I understood these were demons. I looked down at my lap and saw that I had a light radiating from my entire body, as if I were covered in 2 inches of white/gold covering. Then I looked up and saw a word just under the ceiling, a word in lights and the word was SUBTERFUGE. I was horrified and I said to the man, "R----, I have to go. I don't know what you are into, but don't EVER call me again!" And I hung up the phone. I have not seen this man in several years but did a few days ago coming out of a grocery store. I was startled but remained polite as I could not avoid him. We conversed very superficially, but I'm telling you, it was like my soul was feeling horror and I was immediately aware, because I could feel it, and sort of "see" it, that there was what I call a demon of deception all over him. I would say it overshadows him.This conversation was probably 2 minutes in length. As I walked into the store, I was very shaken and it took the rest of the day to feel better. I am feeling that maybe I have a responsibility to pray for him. Our priests' sermon today was about our responsibility to minister and pray for each other. The thought of praying for him fills me with...I don't even know what to call it. Fear, horror, disgust, disappointment...it's an awful feeling. I am not aware of his own beliefs or whether he's a Christian. I can tell you he is out of work and looks unhealthy. There is just something about him that makes my skin crawl. What do you think? I'm also concerned about keeping myself protected from any "fallout" if I pray for him. Please advise. I am very grateful for your ministry on this site and your time. Thank you.

In meeting him on the street when you cannot avoid him say a quick prayer of protection, be polite, and get away as soon as possible, not let him touch you. You do need to pray for this man. The fear, horror, and disgust of the idea is probably coming from the devil. He is trying to get you to not pray for this man. While you do need to pray for him it is important to pray for protection before you do. This can be the St. Michael Prayer, the Prayer to our Guardian Angel to Watch Over Us, and the Protection Prayer before an Activity. In general you should pray the Hedge Prayer for Protection of Self A prayer that you might pray on his behalf is the Proxy Deliverance Prayer for a Friend or Relative. Dear Kristin:

You have done the right thing to tell him to never contact you again. In meeting him on the street when you cannot avoid him say a quick prayer of protection, be polite, and get away as soon as possible, not let him touch you.

You do need to pray for this man. The fear, horror, and disgust of the idea is probably coming from the devil. He is trying to get you to not pray for this man.
