Question: Good day I would like to ask how do i know if i have the gift of desernment of spirits because i often feel cold or pricking or crawling or heaviness when i am around other people and sometimes when i move away its disappears other times i have to pray to take away the feeling. I also feel these things when going places like i once went to a internet gaming store where people play games online together but i couldn't stay because it was very heavy with crawling. I am also able to see sometimes things but its not clear its like thin white sheets and for example if they sit on my head i will get negative impure thoughts or swearing (sorry i hope this makes sense) I try and surrender it to Jesus but it seems to only go away sometimes and i feel a bit negative when this happens so i sometimes try and avoid people or places. please can you help me understand !

All Christians should have a form of discernment. This is often experienced as a bad feeling when entering a store that may have occult items, or a odd feeling when passing by a person who may be demonized. The Gift of Discernment, on the other hand, is a supernatural gift that goes beyond any human skill or ability. The "white sheet" that sit on your head is not likely from God. Verification of that is found in impure thoughts and swearing. I would advise that you ask God to take away these experiences that may be coming from Him. If the phenomena does not go away, then we know it is not coming from God. In that case, you need to renounce these "gifts" and rebuke the spirits behind them.
