Question:
Dear Brother,
I have an Aunt who has always been spiritual oppose to religious, as she reads a bible occasionally and doesn't really attend any church services.
My Aunt is a very intelligent, beautiful woman, and does believe in God; but I remembered as a kid, she would go to tarot card readings, play with Ouija boards, read her horoscope daily, and has decorated her home with Buddhas, crystals, and other artifacts that are not Christian.
Fortunately, she has stopped those practices, especially with the Ouija board; but now she practices yoga, deep breathing meditation and does a paper burning ritual to release negative things in her life; whereas she writes down things that she wants to let go and burns the paper to remove it out of her life.
She suggested that I take yoga and I told her no because of the demon spiritual entities attached to it and it is not Christian. She respects my decision about the yoga and me not being involved, however stated that the deep breathing would help me, as I have anxiety and IBS and the paper ritual is just something to release things of the past and I would be releasing it into the Universe to God.
I still feel these practices are somewhat New Age and I'm reluctant to do any of them, however I was unsure about the paper burning ritual, as I've heard Catholic people do write down their prayers and have even placed them underneath a candle while praying.
Another thing I have noticed about my Aunt is, since she has been practicing yoga; she has been experiencing terrible bouts with dizziness and has difficulty with mobility. The same thing happened to an acquaintance of mine who not only practiced yoga, but also had Chakra alignments and was unable to sleep in a bed because they could not lay straight any longer after yoga sessions.
I love and respect my Aunt, but I feel that some of the things she's doing are going to cause severe demonic consequences and are there any prayers I can say for her and if you could give me some insight about the paper burning rituals; I would be grateful.
Thank you, God Bless, Crystal

Dear Crystal:
Your aunt is involved in Satan's sandbox with yoga, Chakra, and the like. This is no better than the Ouija board, tarot cards, and horoscopes.
The burning ritual she mentions also needs to be avoided. You need to ignore all advice from your aunt.
There is a legitimate exercise in psychology and in deliverance counseling involving burning paper. In deliverance counseling we ask the client to write down every sin they have ever committed throughout their lives. Then, with a prayer, they burn the list. Burning the list gives a very visceral image of one's sins being destroyed and no longer existing. It helps many people to realize that once their sins are forgiven they no longer exist in the universe.
But, the any ritual or practice suggested by your Aunt is not going to be Christian. Avoid her advice.
God Bless, Bro. Ignatius Mary
