Question: I pray the Chaplet to St. Michael and the Archangels together with my husband every day, and believe that we experience God's protection in a special way. A few years back I had a terrible experience with the book "the Secret" and last week my 10 year old daughter received a book Angelspeake A Gude by Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold, published by Simon and Schuster. The book appeared interesting, and I thought I'd start reading it after I prayed the St. Michael chaplet on my weekend. The book was in front of me and while I was praying the chaplet I picked the book again and felt that it was not right. It speaks about communicating with the angels and also deceased mortals which is against our catholic faith. I was especially concerned because it does not have an imprimatur. I would appreciate your guidance on this.

Whatever "angels" these gals think they are in contact with, they are not angels of God. You should not allow your daughter to have or to read this book and whoever sent her this book to never send any book to your daughter without clearing it with you first. The Angelspeake website mentions "Reiki angels". Reiki angels are otherwise known as demons. Reiki is one of the most dangerous activities one can involve themselves with. We have had several clients who were serious demonized by participating in Reiki. One of the many "messages" from these so-called angels is revealing: Spiritual Movement Across Mother Earth Dear Ones, We have a message for you. There is a groundswell of events happening of a spiritual nature all over the world. Not of religion, but of spirit. It will not be apparent at first, but will eventually come to light to everyone. It has been growing in momentum for some time. You and many of your students are part of it. Many leaders have encouraged their students to become aware and to be ready for their awakening so they may understand what their true work is. You will be growing in understanding much as you did in the beginning when you were awakened. It seems like things have been slow, but you can see what has been accomplished recently. More will happen. You will see. Keep in touch with your helpers and those who are willing to work for your work. The energy around everyone is building. We are with you. Keep being faithful. Your Angels. The part I placed in bold italics is particular interesting. "not of religion, but of spirit" is that language of New Age occultism. "eventually come to light" and "growing in momentum" is the the language New Agers use for the coming of a enlightened person to show the world "the light." This in actuality is the spirit of the Anti-Christ and of Satan (who can appear as an angel of light). You need to bless this book with holy water, rip it apart, and burn it. Question:
