Dear Rose: I watched this movie the other day. I did not see anything in it that is a problem. The pagan ceremony was in the context of a bad and non-christian practice that St. Patrick came to stop and convert the people. There are descriptions of pagan practices in the Bible. One famous one is that of Elijah who was involved in a contest in which pagan peoples tried to call upon their 'gods' to light the fire of an altar. Nothing happened. Elijah dowsed his altar with water and prayed to God and God lit the fire. I am reminded of that Biblical scene in this movie since St. Patrick, with the power of God, overcame the power of the pagans. But, if you are creeped-out by the scene, or any scene from any movie or TV show, you can say a prayer like this:
