Breaking Away From A Family Of Witchcraft	Aaron	Saturday, September 6, 2014
Question: Hello, Just a little background. I come from a family with a really strong background in witchcraft. And I mean really strong ties ranging from murder to other really bad things. I am trying to break away since I've been breaking away I've come under major attack. I'm going to mass and confession. My aunt who is pretty much the ring leader has been cursing me. The problem I'm having is through major prayer, mass and spending hours in front of the blessed sacrament I've been able to break her curses. When I break her curses it's weird like a dog starts barking or something that sounds like a dog and this last time I saw a little black dog run away from my leg. The problem is she keeps casting whatever she is casting so it's like an on going battle. Then at my apartment I can see the outlines of things and one of them claims to be her. I think something in my apartment is linking me to her and I just had the apartment blessed but it seems like once I get rid of whatever was there, more just come back and not only more but meaner and vicious ones come back as well. In the beginning I was super afraid but through prayer and the blessed sacrament I have seen how powerful God is. I'm really not afraid anymore if anything it's more of a nuisance but it is super draining to have to keep battling. It's like I literally can feel myself breaking free and I feel great and then boom she summons something else and it's right back at it again. So I guess my question is, is there anything I can do to completely break free from her and stop the attacks it's just draining but receiving the Eucharist completely helps and is there any way to get rid of her in my apartment it's like she's there watching. Like I can literally see her outline but it's only at my apartment. I've been throwing away everything and anything that could possibly link me to her in the apartment. I would advise using prayers in our Spiritual Warfare Catalog, linked below, such as the Hedge Prayer of Protection, Breaking Spell and Curses, and Rebuking Particular Spirits. It is not surprising that you are coming under heavy attack as you are coming out of a very power attachment of witchcraft in your family. As for the aunt casting spells and curses, remember that most spells and curses do not work, and many boomerang back on the caster. Thus, do not put more power into them than there is. God has all power. With that said, the Breaking Spells and Curses prayer in our Catalog may have to be prayed daily. The Rebuking Prayer should be prayed anytime something happens in your house. You should ask a priest to bless your house again. If there is no relief in the phenomena then you may want to do the more extensive House Blessing and Cleansing ritual found in our Catalog. I would advise following the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance, linked below. The shadow you see of her is more likely to be a demon disguised as her. Rebuke this spirit when you see it. As for this harassment to stop, short of your aunt stopping her grave sin against you, is up to God. He may allow this harassment until such time as you learn something you need to learn (like resignation to God's will in spite of these harassments), or there may be a "hook" in your life that your need to renounce (the Seven Steps will help with that). You can persevere in this. God is with you. Your Guardian Angel is right by your side. Do not forget to ask him for help. You can avoid falling into the temptations that can come from being drained due to fighting this. God does not lie and he promises that: (1 Corinthians 10:13) No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
