Possibly seeing demons in home KLeigh Tuesday, March 4, 2014

Question:

I've recently begun seeing spiders and shadowy figures in my apartment over the course of the past month or two; I see them both with and without my glasses on (it's not a reflection on the lens). Some of these "spiders" are large about 6 inches, and look real enough that I want to leave the room or throw my shoe. To clarify, I don't have any psychological diagnoses pertaining to hallucinations or psychosis; nor do I use 'recreational' drugs.

I'm a practicing Catholic, attending a local Tridentine Mass weekly and try my best to maintain the practices of Mary's brown scapular. I have holy water and blest salt; my apartment was blest in September. My roommate is not a practicing Catholic and has recently invited her boyfriend into the home when I'm specifically not there for premarital sex.

I used to see these spiders and similar objects when I lived with my parents. My mother is actively/avidly involved with Santeria. My parents and other family members are not practicing Catholics.

What can you advice in terms of prayer/novenas, and additional actions (i.e. re-blessing home)?

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r), CCL, LTh, DD, LNDC

Dear KLeigh:

Since you have family members who are not practicing Catholics and especially since your mother is involved in Santeria I would advise that you go though our Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance linked below.  In addition, you need to pray various prayers found in our Spiritual Warfare Catalog also linked below. Some of the prayers I would recommend are the Breaking Personal Curses and Spells, Renouncing Ancestral Sins, Hedge Prayer of Protection of Self, and any others you find useful.

If possible, or when possible, I would get a different roommate if she will not agree to a "no sex in the house" policy.

In the meantime, I would pray prayers to cleanse the house using Holy Water each time after you roommate defiles the house with her sin. This should include her room and her bed at some time when she is not at home, if that is possible to do. If not, you can at least bless the doorway to her room.

Do not expect a quick solution. You must persevere in prayer for your roommate, your mother and other family and for yourself.

We will be praying for Yuh.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
