Question Title Posted By Question Date
Mr. Lozano's formula. Joseph Sunday, April 21, 2013

Question:

Speaking of the previous mentioned book. I have tried his formula for self-deliverance many times and it seems to only turn the heat up on me so to speak. Meaning I forgive in the name of Jesus anyone I can think of that has hurt me, I command in the name of Jesus the demon(by attribute) be gone, and then I ask God the Father to bless me after which I thank Him.

Is God telling me to use a different method perhaps since this only seems to make things worse? I also pray the prayers in your catalogue and sometimes I go in front of the Sacrament to pray. I go to confession every 1-2 weeks. This is mostly for sins of the flesh. Thank you for your advise.

Dear Joseph:

It is to be expected for things to get worse before they get better. The devil does not want to let go of you, so when you put the pressure on by deliverance prayers, or any movement in the direction of more intimate relationship with God, the devil will push back harder.

The devil knows that when he pushes back harder that many people will quit their prayers. This is what Satan wants you to do. Do not give him what he wants.

We must persevere thorugh the harassment and never quit. The Bible tells us to resist the devil and he will flee, but the bible does not tell us how quickly he will flee. The devil does not want to flee so he will do anything he can to convince us to stop our prayers and our march toward God. One of the primary ways he tries to do this is to attack us even more and harder.

Once the devil sees that his increased attacks will not work, the attacks will abate in intensity and he will flee, in accord with God's will.

So, do not let the "getting worse" prompt you to stop the prayers and the self-help deliverance process. Keep at it no matter what the devil throws at you. Hang in there.
