Question: I am a catholic and my faith is central to my being. I partly read the book 'the secret' without knowing that it was new age, and as soon as I realised I went to confession and threw the book in the garbage. I was distracted, tempted with blasphemous words at the Holy Eucharist and suffered greatly. I only recently did tell the person who recommended this book about the harm that I have been caused and not to recommend it to anyone. I feel better after having done that. I want to be cleansed fully of what entered my mind by partly having read the book. I have suffered much over the past 2 years ever since I first came in contact with the book. Suffered spiritually, mentally, emotionally and now even physically. I want to be set free and delivered and healed. To live for our Lord Jesus Christ, to consecrate myself to Him, and to serve His purpose in my life wholly. Please pray for me.

It sounds like this book had a profound effect upon you, that is, the book apparently allowed a demon(s) to enter your life and cause you havoc and harassment.
