RE: Black Dog Red Eyes D Tuesday, May 22, 2012

Question:

I appreciate Edward's posting regarding my daughter's experience. I read the articles, it was very interesting. My thoughts are since we are fallen creatures, the enemy will come when we are at our weakest--dehydrated, ill, etc. I do believe those hallucinating in the article were not hallucinating. I believe they were real....

My daughter had that experience years before she got the diabetes. She was 100% healthy. And, please, how do you explain the laugh/growl/weird/black thing my neighbor and her friend saw one evening outside her window? (they were having tea when this happened)(she told me the next day and she knows it was not anything natural)(since then, she has fallen onto bad luck) I met someone who's mother had the same experience of seeing the "dog" and things went downhill from there for her mother.

I searched the internet, and there are sightings of this dog all over the world. Well, in any case, even though deep down I really believe this thing came in spite of what Father Brother Ignatius Mary said, or anybody says, I think it really happened and this 'dog' brings bad luck. Correct me if I am wrong, but, isn't the devil roaming the world today?

I will not let this get me down, I am fighting back with the prayers Father  Brother Ignatius Mary gave me to say---every day---..I thank you Father Brother Ignatius Mary for being here to help. Believe me, I have tried to put the incident off, tried to not think about it, tried to say "it was only a dream" or "it was just a hallucination" I know my daughter and to this day, I believe it was real. I also believe that God and his minion conquer evil with prayer and I am using prayer as my weapon, because it is my duty to care for my daughter. Whatever the outcome of my daughter's health, I, like Job in the Bible, will continue to press on because in the end of all this it is Ultimately God's Will Be Done. I see His Will in all of this, He allowed it to happen.

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r)

Dear D.

I know you are concerned, but you are declaring opinions on matters for which you have no competence to offer. The articles that were posted described medical conditions. Unless you are a physician and was there you cannot say that the medical conditions did not exist.

I would encourage you to humble yourself. The devil loves a proud person. Pride attracts demons. When you said that you will maintain your opinion "in spite of what Father (Brother) Ignatius Mary said, or anybody says?" that is pride. You need to defer your opinions to people who actually know what they are talking about.

Secondly, there is no such thing as "luck". This is a occult concept. No demon, demon dog or otherwise brings anyone bad "luck". That is superstition and intellectually illogical. One of the first laws of science and of investigation is that "Correlation does not equal causation."  That means that the presence of the dog is a correlation to bad things happening, but it does not follow that the demon dog caused it.

To help your daughter you need to avoid these presumptions, rash judgments, and superstitions. The point is that we need to be careful consulting Dr. Interent and claiming we know more than we do.

Now, with that said, let us examine the phenomena.

  1. There is a medical cause to explain "some" of the red-eyed-dog phenomena;

  2. There is folklore about the red-eyed-dog, which is where most the the so-called "reports around the world come from." This has no more veracity than sightings of Big Foot or the Loch Nest Monster;

  3. In addition to the above possible explanations, you are correct in saying that it is possible for demons to exploit medical weaknesses. Demon can also exploit our superstitions and folklore for their own purposes. When we are medically weakened, or when we believe in superstitions and folklore, we become vulnerable to demonic attacks.

It also needs to be remembered that I can only answer a question according to the information presented to me. If information is lacking from a a person's post, I can only answer according to what I do not know about the situation as posted. In this post you have added information that was not included in your first post.

When I accept clients, the client must answer a 45 page questionnaire so that we have a complete history of the person's life, the circumstances that lead them to come for deliverance, and a complete rendering of current problems. It is impossible to do all that in a Q&A Forum. I can only speak to the extremely limited information given to me by the person posting the question.

As a responsible Counselor, I must always look for the scientfic explanations first. Even if something can be scientifically explained does not mean that the circumstance cannot also have a spiritual aspect. It takes complete information to properly discern this.

Overall, it appears that a spiritual problem may be present in your case. The way to handle that is what I have already advised you to do.

Pesevere in prayer.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
