Question: Dear Brother, There are a few Saints that people pray to, especially within the Hispanic community, but I was wondering if they are Catholic Saints, as reading up on them, they are on a lot of sites pertaining to Santeria and Hoodoo. The Saints are Saint Expedite who intercedes quickly and for emergencies, Saint Alex or San Alejo who intercedes to help enemies stay away and Saint Pancracius who intercedes for health and work. I'm just curious as to know if these are actual Catholic Saints such as St. Joseph, and more or were they venerables or Saints of certain cultures. Do not be fooled by the Catholic trappings. These are religions that are hostile and contrary to Christianity. Two of the Saints that you mention are included in the list of Catholic saints. Santeria and Hoodoo often borrow Catholic saints, terminology, and devotions for their own purposes. Do not be fooled by the Catholic trappings. These are religions that are hostile and contrary to Christianity.

I am not sure about St. Alex/Alejo. There are a lot of Saints names Alexander.
