Question Answered by

Dear Tom:

God never abandons you. He gives you the grace to deal with whatever hardships must be faced. God does not give you that grace in advance, but at the time you need it. We need to take one day at a time, knowing that God will help us with future crosses.

God also promises that there is no temptation, such as the temptation to lose hope, that he will allow in your life if you could not handle it:

(1 Cor 10:13)  No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it.

Thus, when any trial takes place in your life you can know that you can resist any temptation that comes your way because God says so and he does not lie. In addition, God will always give you a way to escape the temptation.

I suggest that you go through our Seven Steps to Self Deliverance linked below. It will show you how to fight against any demonic harassments. That is a start in handling this problem.

As for your living situation, I do not know how to advise you since I do not know the local resources. I would advise you to contact the local Department of Social Services and ask about what is available once your parents are gone.

For example, if you cannot work, you may be eligible for Social Security Disability or SSI. That would give you the money to live on your own. Many communities also have housing subsidy programs whereby rent is calculated on a sliding-scale.

We will certainly be in prayer for you.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
