Question Title Posted By Question Date
Native American Trinket Christine Saturday, December 17, 2011

Question:

Dear Brother,

My husband went on a business trip to Florida and brought back a small trinket made by a native woman there. It was a gift for me. It's a circular rings of vines with a small bear-shaped amulet hanging in the middle. I am concerned about this as it I think it may be some kind of pagan religious article. He bought it at the hotel, I think, from a peddler.

I've been using the self-help steps described on the website and they're helping me a lot. I want to be very careful. Do I need to worry about this trinket?

I did search the forum for an answer to this question, but didn't find anything specific.

Thanks very miuch.

Dear Christine:

I praise God that our Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance have been helpful to you. Those Seven Steps have help many 100s or even 1000s of people.

As for the aboriginal (Indian) tricket I doubt there is anything to worry about. Those items are commonly sold in tourist areas all the time with no ill effect.

However, if you are concerned about it, then go ahead and destroy it. We have a document about how to do this safely: Procedure to Destroy Occultic or Cursed Objects (pdf file)

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
