Intrusive thoughts Angie Sunday, November 27, 2011

Question:

Hello,

This is my second question. I'm going to contact my bishop like you have suggested thank you. I just want to make sure I am on the right track. I'm so happy to have found this website. My 11 year old son is having intrusive thoughts of selling his soul to the devil through out the day and other fears. He had a couple today. He heard on the radio that people sell their souls back in May and my husband confirmed. Not in a mean or hurtful way. I took him to our healing priest because he had a panic attack, adverse reactions to medicine, and he wanted to jump out of the car due to the medicine. The priest asked him if he had sold his soul and my son said no. The priest explained to my son that they were lies and that God loves him and is with him. He instructed my son to say " set me free, and fears go the cross". Then my son says "I believe in Jesus, He satisfies my thirst". When it goes away he says thank you and prays for someone. He also drinks a teaspoon of holy water from St. Lourdes France every morning and reads the prayer. This is the same boy from the previous thread. He is on no medication. He was having many fears throughout the day. They have gone down substantially.

Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r)

Dear Angie:

I praise God that your son is getting better. It sounds like your son may have been afriad that he sold himself to the devil once he heard that was possible. You can comfort him that such a thing is very rare and cannot happen by accident. One must deliberately and consciously with freedom of will make the decision to follow the devil.

For your son and for yourself, keep up the daily prayers and devotions. Remember that the strongest deliverance prayers of all is the Sacrament of Confession and the Holy Mass with reception of the Blessed Sacrament.

The Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance linked below, along with pertinent prayers from the Spiritual Warfare Catalog, should go a long way in cleansing and freeing your son and your household.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
