Powerful exorcism of a holy spiritconfirmation sacramen | Jessica | Wednesday, August 24, 2011 |
Question: I think I must get rid of a holy spirit. I received a holy spirit in pentacostal event from a protestant church. A priest recommended confirmation sacrament in order to force a holy spriit who torments me seriously out of my body. But it takes so long in order to receive confirmation sacrament so I want to know if there is another powerful way to exorcise a holy spirit who torments my life seriously with his hatredness and contempt |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r)
Dear Jessica: There is only one Holy Spirit. He is God, the third person of the Holy Trinity. The Holy Spirit does not torment people. What you are referring to is an Evil Spirit. It is not uncommon for a demonic transference at Pentecostal meetings in which there is a laying on of hands. You may have picked up a demon from that meeting. If a demon has attached himself to you, then you need to follow the steps needed to get rid of that demon. That includes baptism (if you are not already baptized), confirmation, followed by Confession and Eucharist. These are the most powerful spiritual warfare prayers we have. In the meantime, until you can enter the Catholic Church, I recommend our Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance linked below. You will not be able to receive Confession or the Eucharist until you are received into the Church (usually that will be next Easter), but you can still go to Mass and participate in devotions. When you go to Mass do not receive the Eucharist, but remain in your pew (some parishes have candidates go to a classroom before the Eucharist is distributed). Live the best Christian life possible. Do all the things good Christians do -- pray daily, do good works, go to Church every Sunday, live a pure life. Once you are accepted into RCIA (the classes that prepare you for Confirmation that usually start in September), you will be under the protection of the Church. Appeal to the Saints for help. We have a list of patron saints who specialize in spiritual warfare. You will not die over this. You may suffer for a while, but remember that suffering is a privilege in that we can join our suffering with that of Christ on the Cross for the salvation of souls. If you try the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance linked below for a few months and do not find relief then we may be able to help you. Contact us if that is needed. But, do not delay; RCIA is about to start in most parishes. Contact your parish paster right away and see about getting into the classes as soon as they start. We will be praying for you. God Bless, For information on how to receive help see our Help page. We suggest that before contacting us directly for help you try the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance. These self-help steps will often resolve the problem. Also our Spiritual Warfare Prayer Catalog contains many prayers that may be helpful. If needed you can ask for a Personal Consultation.
