Demonic harassment/confusion? Adam Monday, January 3, 2011

Question:

Dear Brother,
I've came here before for help, roughly a year ago. As a former Pagan, when I abandoned that filth and turned to God, it got ugly. I believe God let me see what I'd really been playing with all those years, and it truly tested my faith. Once I finally rid my home of all traces of my old life, I thought it ended.

Long story short, I found my "book of shadows" hidden in a box of dinnerware. I immediately took it to the burn pile, but couldn't get it to burn. I'd previously prayed a protection prayer (as a pagan) over it. Remembering this, I prayed to God, out loud and sincerely to rid me of this evil. And he did, as the last page charred, I saw a whit cloaked figure walk from my left, disappearing behind an old Oak tree, and I felt that it was over.

Even so, I continually prayed for God to protect me from this evil, and likewise thanked God for his mercy. And have since continued to grow closer to God.

Dear Adam:

It looks like your post was truncated for some reason.

Anyway, I praise God that you have come back to God and that you have won these battles.

The devil, of course, will not be pleased with your return to God, nor your growing in faith. He will try to get at you again, as it sounds like it happening.

You must persevere in the faith and in spiritual warfare.  Keep resisting the devil; always be on alert and take action at the slightest attempt of demons to return.

Prayers in our Spiritual Warfare Catalog can help you in that task. The Hedge Prayer of Protection, the Rebuking Particular Spirits, and the Breaking Curses and Spells come to mind as prayers you need to pray on a regular basis.

We will continue to pray for you, for your protection, and for your continued deliverance.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
