Demonic presence tormenting my 2 year-old son	Jeremy	Thursday, October 28, 2010
Question: My 2 year old son is being visited regularly by what can only be described as a demonic presence in his bedroom. He has complained that a "monster" has pushed him down and not let him out of his crib. He constantly points to the corner of his room and says "there's monster right there". He has spoken of talking to a "man" in his room, and playing with a "puppy" at night in his bed. I thought that maybe this was his imagination, but things have been happening in our house recently. The TV goes on and off on it's own, lights go on and off in the basement, doors open and close on their own. The other day, my cousin saw my son's door close and then open on it's own, and saw a shadow dart across the hallway. My son has been heard in the middle of the night conversing with what seems to be himself. Two nights ago, my wife found him sitting in the hallway, seemingly having a back and forth conversation with someone. She picked him up and turned to open the door to his room. When she reached for the doorknob to open the door, the door swung open on it's own, as if to say "come on in". He has described a dark "man" with red eyes that comes to see him in his room. He was afraid at first, but it seems that this evil presence is gaining his trust. He is so young, he is seemingly defenseless against the oppression that this presence is having over him. We have had the local Catholic priest bless the house, and we are going to hold Mass in the house later this week with the same priest. There is also a Nazerene preacher that is coming over today to annoint the house with oil, and bless our son as well. My issue is that neither the priest or the pastor has any experience dealing with a situation such as this. We have prayed for protection over our house and family, and have bound the demon to leave in the name of Christ on several occasions, but it seems to be hanging around. I am searching for advice to help us rid our lives of this "rodent" that has taken hold of our home. My son has been behaving very weirdly lately, throwing fits, and being especially deviant, hitting his brothers with objects and laughing while he does it. There are several occasions that it almost feels like it's not really him. It's coming to the point that I fear for his safety. Can anyone help me in this desperate matter?
Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OMSM(r) Dear Jeremy: It will be a few weeks before we can take a new client, but we can talk with you on the phone to give some immediate advice. The reason I am suggesting this is that there is more information that is needed to be able to advise a specific course of action. The priestly blessing and the saying of Mass in the house are excellent things to do. I would also recommend that you get the CD, Sleep Sound in Jesus by Michael Card. This musical CD seems to be anointed. Demons tend to hate it. You can play this CD all night long in your child's bedroom. Keep the volume low so that it does not disturb his sleep, but set your machine to repeat the CD all night long. This can also be done all day long in the house, in general. You house may need more than a regular priestly blessing. We have a blessing form that is specifically designed for cleansing houses of demonic presence: House Cleansing and Blessing. If the Mass held in your house does not improve things, then perhaps this form of House blessing is needed, too. Sometimes, by the way, a Mass or this blessing has to be done more than once. The priest can do this house blessing if he wants, or we can help you through it ourselves. I do suggest that we arrange a phone call to discuss the particulars.
