How to avoid Santeria Curse Abe X. Friday, September 10, 2010

Question:

Hi,

I've been following your site for many years and recently have desired to ask you several questions about faith, but I feel the spiritual warfare questions are a more pressing matter.

My girlfriend was recently made fun of on her facebook page by one of her friends who's an atheist. She had written a bible verse on her 'wall' from John 4. The person essentially alleged that their friend who practices Santeria and is fairly high up in this religion, is more spiritual than she is. Mind you, that she posts these verses not to appear "spiritual" but because she wants to share the word of God. I prayed with her after she told me what happened, because she is afraid that the atheist friend will try to get the Santeria friend to curse her. Reason being; another of my gf's friends who is a Christian and is also friends with these two guys, has had discussion about religion with them. She is now in a deep depression and is maybe doubting God. We are not saying that these men caused this through a curse, but my girlfriend is afraid this may have happened. How can we protect ourselves from this?

Thank You So Much.
In Christ,
Abe X

Dear Abe:

Well, the first thing I would recommend is that your girlfriend remove these people's postings and also remove from her friends list, and restrict viewing and posting to her "wall", "blog", or whatever to friends-only. It is not worth responding to them.

It sounds like the friend is reaping the "rewards" of trying to talk with them. You guys have to understand that such people, especially those high up in Santeria and other similar cults, are after you. Those in the Santeria open dialogue solely to either recruit, harass, or even cast spells upon those they confront. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. Atheists can also be a problem. Tell your girlfriend and her friend to not let anyone, including this atheist, rob them of their peace in Christ. Remove those people from the friends list ASAP.

Dealing with atheists and people like that of Santeria requires a special calling of God. Without that calling one can find themselves mincemeat.

I would also advise that your girlfriend, her friend, and you all pray the Hedge Prayer for Protection of Self and the Breaking Curses and Spells found in our Spiritual Warfare Catalog linked below.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
