Hi Folks: This is Bro. Ignatius. I apologoze for the long absence. I have been on a leave-of-absence for health and personal issues. I am just now getting back into the saddle. My health is so-so. The VA has given me a wheel chair that I don't need daily, but if I go shopping in a big place like a Mall, I need one. And next week tests will be taken to see if I can continue with oral medications for diabetes or have to start using insulin, and other issues. But I am back and glad to be back. Thanks for all the prayers and inquiries as to what happened to me. I apoligise that the ball was dropped without people being notified. Anyway, Jacob will begin catching up on questions that were posted more than a year ago but never answered because the forums were closed down, and start will start accepting new questions. God Bless, Footer Notes: (a) A Eucharistic Minister is clergy (Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion). Laity are Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and should never be called Eucharistic Ministers. (b) There is no such Mass called the Novus Ordo. The Current Mass is the Roman Missal of 2000, or the Oridinary Form of the Mass. The Tridentine Mass is the Roman Missal of 1962, or the Extraordinary Form of the Mass. Please refrain from using the term, Novus Ordo. Thanks. (c) The titles of Acolyte and Lector belong exclusively to the Installed Offices of Acolyte and Lector, who are men (only) appointed by the Bishop. These roles performed by others are Altar Servers and Readers, respectively. |
