re: Dogs in Church | Monica | Saturday, December 25, 2004 |
Question: Greetings Br. Please allow me to address this issue. My neighbor is blind and requires a service dog. He is well trained, (better then some of the children lol). When she goes to receive, the dog goes also. I agree that PET dogs should never be in church, but their are alot of people, not only the blind, who require service dogs to help them function in society. My neighbor told me, that when she goes to confession, once she has received absolution, the priest will bless the dog. What a great priest he is. PET dogs------NO!! SERVICE dogs----YES YES YES !!!! May God Bless you Brother and your work here. |

Laity are Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion and should never be called Eucharistic Ministers. (b) There is no such Mass called the Novus Ordo. Please refrain from using the term, Novus Ordo. Thanks.
