Welcome to the Church History Q&A Forum This forum is designed to tell the Truth about the history of the Catholic Church. The virtue of Truth is closely related to history. Without Truth, history becomes only fiction or myth. The Catholic Church is founded upon the Truth of Christ and hold the virtue of Truth as premium and absolute. Thus, it is not surprising that the Catholic Church tells the truth about its past. She has nothing to fear from telling the truth. The Church is holy because Christ is holy. Nothing can tarnish the holiness of Christ and His Church. Members of His Church, however, are men, and men sin. It is unfortunate when men sin in the name of the Church, but when they do that they sin not only against God, but against the Church also. The sins of men, including those of Popes, Bishops, Priests, and Religious belong to those individuals. Never has their individual sin lead to the Church falling into error. God protects the Church from error in faith and morals and nothing, not even hell itself, not even a corrupt Pope can change that. History is an exercise in truth. History proves the Truth of the Catholic Church. We invite all people of good will to join us in the celebration of Truth of the History of the Catholic Church. God Bless,
