communion question | Katie | Friday, April 25, 2008 |
Question: Today when I went to church the priest gave me two hosts by a mistake. I told him after I noticed the two in my hand and he said to take them. He looked busy giving out communion so I put both of them in my mouth. I made the decision to point it out to him, but was I supposed to do more? Thanks for all your help! |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Katie: There is nothing wrong in consuming more than one hosts if the priest gives it to you. I have consumed multiple hosts when the priest asked me to help him consume the remaining host in a situation where the hosts could not be reserved. You are okay.
