it's me again...about fisheaters.com | joseph | Friday, March 28, 2008 |
Question: sorry, i should have written this question with the one i posted awhile ago... it just stunned me as i was surfing your website when i saw fisheaters.com in the list of schismatics that should be avoided or something like that... i read some of the "educational" things of our catholic faith there and i learned many interesting practices of traditional catholics... is it really schismatic? it says that the writers of that site believe in the VAtican II and that Pope Benedict XVI is the true pope etc.... is it dangerous to read things from that site? again thanks in advance. |

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Joseph: While Fisheaters have a lot of very good resources, the site both explicitly and implicitly rejects Vatican II, he has his Dictionary of Dissent which disparages the post-Conciliar Church and encourages Catholics to disregard the authority of the Church, and has links to schismatic sites, such as the SSPX, and other unorthodox websites. The good resources on the site lures people in and once there one begins to be indoctrinated in the spirit of dissent, arrogance, pride, and rebellion against the post-conciliar Church. The resources on the site can be found elsewhere. God Bless, Footer Notes: This forum is for general questions on the faith.
