Dear Maria: One dedicates themselves to God by committing himself to love God and to live according to His will. That means making a commitment to follow God's teachings as best as you can. That means worshiping God (personally and in Church), praying, doing good works, living a life of charity, avoiding sin, coming to God for forgiveness when one does sin, changing your life to live morally in the love and ways of Jesus, living the life of Faith.
