Question: Show me an idividual or organization that claims to have absolute truth, and I'll show you a tyrant and a murderer under the right circumstances and political climate. The Catholic Church and most organized religions fit this bill perfectly one has only to refer to real history not the spin doctored propaganda you provide.

Okay, we need to start keeping an eye on Mathematician since they proclaim an absolute truth that 2 + 2 = 4. Wait, you are making an absolute assertion that those who make absolute assertions are potential tyrants and murderers. Perhaps we need to keep an eye on you. Ah well. The REAL history of the Catholic Church is known and is as I and others have stated it. The bigots against the Catholic Church have bastardized history, rewritten history, and otherwise made-up a false history to fit their prejudices and to fit their agendas and to justify themselves for their defections from the Catholic Church. The history of the Church as known by credible professional historians who are honest. History is closely related to the Virtue of Truth. Those who do not respect truth, give false histories. The Catholic Church respects and values Truth more than any other. Thus, its recorded history is truth and can be backed up by documentary evidence. "The History of Christendom" by Warren Carroll is arguably the most definitive and accurate history of the Church in existence. The historical research contained in that multi-volume set came from professional historians from Catholic, Anglican, Protestant, and Secular scholars (and even a few anti-Catholics). One of the reasons why I converted to the Catholic Church is because the Catholic Church is the only institution on the planet that is honest about its history. If there is a wart in its history, the Catholic Church has no problem revealing it. We have had corrupt Popes, corrupt Bishops, corrupt monks, and the like. It is all laid bare for anyone to read about. No other institution on the planet lays itself bare as does the Catholic Church. This is FACT, not opinion, and fact that can be proven with documentary evidence. And then we have ignorant idiots who know nothing about history, have no credentials in historical scholarship, probably have never even read a history book, spouting stupidisms as you have posted. As such, you are not qualified to even offer an opinion. Get an education and then bash the Church. Sir, do not post again.
