Question: Why does you and your ahhh..church insist upon Deifying a man who was know to be mere flesh and blood? Dont use the Josephus quote its a known forgery by some pius christian such as your self who thought it odd that Josephus referd to Jesus as ONLY a man. |

Dear Oscar: We believe Jesus Christ to be True God and True Man because the Old Testament prophecy provided the specific prophecies (over 150 of them) that identify the Messiah which all came true in Jesus Christ, because life and works of Jesus authenticate his claim to be God, the testimony of the Apostles who personally knew Him confirmed it, the teachings of the Church Fathers affirmed it (see quotes of the Fathers), and the experience of the martyrs celebrated it, and an unbroken history of these teachings of the Church that Jesus founded without compromise (see Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth).
