Brazil and the pill Darla Monday, May 28, 2007

Question:

Brazil is planning on subsidizeing the pill and hands out thousands of free condoms. If the president has his way abortion will be legalized as well despite yhe condematin from the Pope. This from a Catholic country, I thought the most faithful Catholics were from the poorer nations it seem as though were loseing ground every where. The people of Brazil hope these things come to pass especialy the poor and the medical community. Who stae the leading cause of maternal death in Brazil is from botched illegal abortions done in back allys, and are promoteing the pill and abortion as womens heath issues. Basicaly the world says to the thumbs its nose at the Pope and church doctrine......but lets see who they turn to when its time for last rites.

Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM

Dear Darla:

I don't know if there is a question in there somewhere, but it is true that we seem to think we can do what we please without regard to God's law and will.

The Bible tells us that a time would some in which people will not listen to sound doctrine.

2 Timothy 4:3-4:  "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths."

We seem to be in that time.

God Bless,
Bro. Ignatius Mary
