Abuse of St. Joseph Statue | Patriciaa | Monday, April 2, 2007 |
Question: Many people have taken a St. Joseph statue, turned it upside down, and then buried it in the ground in order to more quickly sell their house. To me this is a direct religious abuse of one of our more prominent saints and a disgraceful manner in which a prayer to St. Joseph is misused. |

Dear Patriciaa: I agree with you completely. This practice to "sell" a house is pure superstition and is using St. Joseph as a talismon. Catholics who do this ought to be ashamed of themselves.
