Question Answered by Bro. Ignatius Mary, OLSM
Dear Mary: There is little you can say. This concerns your son and his family. You can certainly let him know, politely, your views, but then it is up to him and his wife. Be thankful that your grandchildren will be raised Christian. The Lutheran Church is a sort of "Catholic-light" community, depending on which Lutheran group it is. This is a lot better than some other Protestant groups. As grandparents the most important thing you can do is to pray for your son, daughter-in-law, and your grandchildren. This will do more than anything you can say verbally. We will be in pray for your family. God Bless, Footer Notes: This forum is for general questions on the faith.
